Eighth roll - video/action

[Hey Johto, this is a video of coins scattered on the ground, and a Meowth in the middle of them looking very pleased with himself, licking a paw and being generally smug and show-offy. Accompanying this sight is Tulio's very stunned voice.]

So my cat just … made money. [The longest pause. Until finally he starts talking and sounds more animated, but it's almost frustrated. Johto, why you no make sense.] My cat just made money. Out of nowhere. It's nuts. This place is nuts.

[Another pause, because holy crap MONEY OUT OF NOWHERE. He picks one up to study, incidentally bringing it close to the camera. And we're back to disbelief.] Hey, so … are they real? Can I use them? [So much money troubles would be solved. All the money troubles.]

[Basically, guess who learnt Pay Day. Should you feel like running into him, he's on the outskirts of Ecruteak!]

Ah. [A pause.] I'm just relieved that it's over, aru.

That makes two of us. _{[Runs a hand through his hair, definitely bothered by the whole thing.]} ...it was really creepy.

I don't think creepy is enough to describe it, aru. It was just so horrible.

All those Murkrow and Houndours are gone too, aru.

Oh yeah. _{[He rubs his arms absentmindedly. He didn't like those either.]} Everything's all back to normal. The relative normal that reigns here, anyway.

[China chuckles.] Isn't that right?

...What have you been doing recently, Tulio? I'm curious since it's been some time since we last spoke to one another.

_{[This is where a hand comes to rub at the back of his neck somewhat self-consciously.]} Oh, heh, nothing, really. _{[Stealing things. Conning people.]} You know, seeing things, going places, bada-bim bada-bom sorta thing.

I've been doing the same, aru. Training my Pokemon and myself, exploring, watching the Kimono Girls dance at the theater.

My travel partner and I are trying to make our way back towards Violet so we can challenge the gym leader there, aru.

An Englishman by the name of Arthur Kirkland. He's from the same world as me and we've known each other for some time, aru.

[Although, the majority of that time was not under good circumstances.]

_{[Something of disdain in his eyes at the mention of what he thinks of as 'that blonde crazy guy' that is this Francis, but he's too distracted by the question to say something about it. Yay.]

Well, the Inquisition's all over the place. _{[Nothing he likes, as he says it sort of clipped.]} And there's a new king - some foreigner. I don't know, it's not the greatest place unless your heart's dead set on art and books.

[China only thinks that the disdain in Tulio's eyes means that he already knows France and that he's giving him a look that says, "Why would you want to travel with that guy? Are you insane?!" He does show a surprised look, though, when Tulio brings up the Inquisition.]

Oh? The Spanish Inquisition, huh?

_{[He rolls his eyes and sighs.]}

I know someone from back home who has lived through that time, aru. He used to be here, actually, but he's been gone for awhile now. His name is Antonio Fern-Fern-Fernandez Carriedo.

[Excuse him, Tulio, but his Spanish is not exactly the best in the world.]

Yeah, I think I talked to him once. Spain himself, and all that. ...that was pretty weird, honestly.

_{[He's not even going to try to understand anymore, he's just going to accept it all.]}

Oh... Well, actually, there's a reason I know him back home, aru. See, I'm a Nation too!

That would be me, aru! Although, after 1949, I'm known as the People's Republic of China.

But I'm still the country known for the Great Wall and it's long history, aru!

My homeland is best known for the Great Wall, which is still standing in 2011! Then my home also has its rich culture and long history, aru!
